U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Use of U-Box Storage to BC Flood Victims

CHILLIWACK, B.C. (Nov. 20, 2021) — U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free U-Box® portable moving and storage container usage at three British Columbia facilities to those impacted by the flooding in recent days.

Storms have brought heavy rains and winds to much of BC, leaving many residents with home damage. Accessibility to local storage can assist in the community’s recovery and rebuilding.

"U-Haul is here to provide storage solutions for our friends in need,” said Horace Martin, U-Haul Company of BC president. “Many areas are under an evacuation order. We invite those in need to give us a call to secure a U-Box container for their belongings at no cost for one month.”

For the next week only, U-Box deliveries to residents’ homes will be less than $100 anywhere in BC. This includes drop-off and pick-up of the container(s). Use of a U-Box container is free for 30 days under the current offer.
